His Name Wasn't Harvey

Matty had a run in with a 6 foot tall rabbit today, but his name wasn't Harvey---we saw the Easter Bunny!  As you can see from the picture, he wasn't thrilled to take the picture.  Mr. Bunny was very cordial and said not to worry, he would still be stopping by next weekend to bring some Easter baskets and eggs.

Stuck!

Oh dear...Matty managed to get himself stuck between a rock and a hard place...er...actually, the ottoman and the sofa.  Don't feel too bad for him though, this was the 5th time in one day that he got stuck.  He was fine--there were no Matthews harmed during the filming of this incident!

How can I make the most noise?

Matty's new favorite (and loudest) discovery:  Daddy's brew equipment. 

He loves banging on the stainless steel pots and making all kinds of noise! 

Things I Learned Today...

Matty had a very busy day.  Here are just a few things he learned all within 10 minutes today:

1.  How to defeat the baby gate and escape from the living room.  (Mommy had gone into the kitchen to grab a glass of water and I seized my opportunity!  I met up with her in the dining room.  Boy was she surprised!)

2.  How to defeat the child locks on the cabinet.  It took him all of about 10 seconds to figure out how to undo the safety latch and grab one of my china teacups.  (Way too easy.  I opened the cabinet, but it got stuck on this latchy thing, so all I had to do was unhook it and it opened!)

3.  The toilet is not a toy.  Mommy is not amused when I put my hand in the toilet.  

Note:  I was only 15 seconds behind Matty at all times.  Clearly, I need to be faster next time.

Slide Rules

No, this isn't a post about an engineering tool used to do math.  Come on, Matty is too young to be doing any major calculations.  But, Brian might start teaching him the derivative of e^x any day now (it's e^x).....

With the nice weather springing up, we took Matty to the park to check out the slide.
