Matty's Thoughts on Washington, DC

"Meh - You've seen one White House, you've seen them all. "

"I encourage everyone to stand outside your congressman's office and rally against oppressive baby formula and rattle taxes!"

"That creepy guy in the chair is looking at me funny."

"In a couple more years I'll be able to reach the top!"

"Having a blast with Daddy!"

Race for Hope

Sunday, May 3rd was the Race for Hope in DC. Our team, Peggy's Peeps, raised $3325 to benefit brain tumor research in loving memory of Mom -- thanks for the support! Despite the rainy day, we raced down Pennsylvania Avenue with about 10,000 other participants. American Idol winner David Cook was there racing, too! Overall, the Race for Hope raised $2 Million this year!

Matty looking great in his "Peggy's Peeps" team shirt and Race bib! His first 5k! He was a big hit and received lots of comments along the course about how he even had his own race number. :-)

The excitement was too much--he took a nap before the race
(and during most of it) Matty, Ryan, and Brendan getting ready to head to the starting line...

Brian, Matty, and Eileen after the race--it certainly was wet outside!
