And Matty was one tired boy!  He was so excited about all the holiday prep that he wouldn't even nap.  We barely made it over to Pop's for dinner!

Baby News

We interrupt the regularly schedule blog update for this special baby announcement:

It's a girl!  20 Weeks along and the Level II Ultrasound we had today confirmed the fun news!  Matty is going to be a great big brother to his little sister.  We better get working on a name--May 4th will be here in no time.

We had pink cupcakes tonight to celebrate the news (and share it with the family).  Of course, in all of the excitement, I forgot to take a picture of them. 

Now, my shopping list just got a whole lot longer.  I can't wait to go out and buy lots of pink, frilly clothes and nursery decor!!

 Just kidding---he's excited, too!  Although, he's not quite sure why :-)

Holiday Cheer

We decorated the Christmas tree on Friday and Matty had no problem getting the hang of things (pun intended).  Of course, the decorating wasn't without a few casualties....

Cold Weather

 The weather is getting colder, so Matty went for a drive in his car bundled up in his winter coat and Eagles hat and gloves. 

Cuddle Medicine

Mommy and Matty weren't feeling tip-top over the weekend.  It took some serious cuddle time to feel better.

 Happy Thanksgiving!  Hope everyone has a very happy and yummy day planned for tomorrow.  Our turkey tried to escape today!  He was on the loose, but we finally caught up with him.  Gobble, gobble!

Eating Machine

Matty enjoys eating.  That is probably an understatement. Whenever he hears "Dinner's ready!"  or "Time for lunch!", he cheers and races for his seat at the table.  Here are some of his latest food conquests:

* Eating a whole apple off the core ("big-boy style")

* Eating the chicken skin from a roast chicken (he also ate a ton of the roast chicken)

* Clearing a plateful of chicken and dumplings (except those stupid carrots)

* Eating almost a whole can of peas (one of his favorite veggies at the moment)

* Tacos!  Mmmm.
* V-8 Juice (although to be fair, I think he just was enjoying using a big boy cup)

Can't wait to see what he eats this week!

Work Bee

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em!  Mommy had to get her work done, so we set up Matty's "office" in the next chair.  He had his laptop and his cell phone and he was all set!

I better get working on these TPS Reports...

 Now, who is calling me??  Hmmm...
