Matty Launch

Ever get the feeling that you probably wouldn't condone the behavior going on in the next room?  Matty LOVES playing with Daddy.  The shrieks of joy and screams of excitement were getting louder and louder.  I peaked around the corner and found them playing a new game.  I present to you "Matty Launch":

15 Month Check Up

Matty had his 15 Month Check Up and all is going well.  He is eating almost all table food, drinking whole milk, and running around all day long looking for ways to keep Mommy on her toes. 

Here are his stats:

Height:  31 1/4 inches  (50 %)

Weight:  22 lbs 2 oz  (25%)

For those of you keeping track at home, that's a delta of 1.25 inches and 2 oz in 3 months.  He's our little beanpole.  The doctor said it was fine that he only gained 2 oz and that he must be taking after his Mommy at the moment.  He's still on his growth curve!

His favorite food at the moment is fresh bananas, followed closely by Nilla Wafers.

Race For Hope 2010

Matty is getting ready to participate in his 2nd Race for Hope to benefit Brain Tumor research in loving memory of his Mom-Mom.  While he never got to meet her, he hears lots of great stories about what a great Mommy she was to his Mommy!  He's excited to be a part of team Peggy's Peeps,  raise some money, and finish his 2nd 5k.  Daddy said that maybe this year he can even run across the finish line.

Pizza, Pizza

We have been making huge strides lately with food. On Saturday night, Matty was taking all the food off my plate and ate corn, grilled chicken, and potato wedges.  Then, on Sunday night, he ate spinach and cheese tortellini. And, as you can see, Matty loves his pizza....

Matty did a great job finding the Easter Baskets that the Easter Bunny hid!  He's checking out the first basket...

Haircut!

Matty's hair was getting out of control again.  He had grown a bit of a mullet and his hair was almost hanging in his eyes in the front.  Here are two before pictures:
