Big Brother!

Matty is trying out his new shirt--he's going to be a Big Brother this spring!  His new sibling is scheduled to arrive on May 4th, but may be closer to April 20th if he/she takes after their big brother!  Matty is going to be a fantastic big brother and is already making a list of things to teach his sibling:  how to open the refrigerator, where we keep the boo-boo bunny, how to steal mommy's blackberry, etc.  Fun, fun!!

Matty was having a bit of a wardrobe malfunction this morning.  His pants and diaper were not cooperating.  He didn't seem to mind or notice as he went about his plans exploring the refrigerator.

Happy Friday!!  Hope everyone survived the week and has some fun to look forward to this weekend.  Since the blog has been a little neglected lately, we are going to do a SUPERSIZED post today.  Oh boy....

While the stuffed shells were baking in the oven last night, Matty found the oven light and decided to perch himself front and center to monitor the progress.

Matty enjoying some cereal for breakfast...Kix are delicious!  We're slowing graduating from the highchair--hard to believe! 

Baby Gate? No Problem!

Matty enjoys a good challenge.  We put a baby gate up to prevent him from going into the guest bedroom while we were painting it.  Almost everything was cleaned up except for a pencil and a screwdriver.  Of course, we couldn't resist taking a few pictures, but not to worry, he was closely supervised the whole time.  After we finished documenting his latest adventure, the guest room was once again off limits.

Matty has been busy learning all sorts of things.  He is a master at kicking a ball, throwing overhand, and finding mischief. 

He is currently excelling at his anatomy lesson --check out the video below! 


 

Next up--animal sounds.  With the exception of the cow, he thinks that every animal says "quack".  Oh dear.
