We are on our first family road trip to Washington, DC! We'll be away through Sunday, but along the way we'll be sure to take lots of pictures of Matty in our nation's capital and at the Race for Hope! New pictures and Race results coming soon!

A beautiful day for a walk in the neighborhood
Sue and Eileen took Brendan and Matty for a pre-bedtime walk since it had been such a beautiful day! The boys were happy to be outside and got along sharing the double baby-jogger.
Phew...the walk just tuckered them both out! :-)

Mr. Clean
Matty is having great fun during bathtime--he loves splashing around! Side note: He still smells like the Holy oil, despite 4 baths and lots of Johnson's baby shampoo. :-)

Watch out, he's got a knife!
Let them eat cake! (Especially if it is a delicious chocolate cake with chocolate mousse!)
Matty helped cut the cake at the christening--he's just growing up so fast...

It's like the swimming guidelines...
Matty is starting to roll over! He can go from his tummy to his back. He performed like a champ, but I guess we should wait more than 30 minutes after eating to try rolling over....

Training for the race
Matty loves his red team shirt--Team Peggy's Peeps newest addition!
This year, Matty is going to participate in his very first 5K---the Race for Hope in DC to raise money for brain tumor research in memory of Mom-mom. We all miss her and are looking forward to the race as a way to honor her life.
Matty's training has begun! His shirt is a little big, but I'm sure he'll grow into it. We've taken the baby jogger out for a spin and Matty approves. He says he thinks he's ready. Mommy isn't quite ready yet, but she still has two weeks. Oh dear.
Matty was wondering if anyone would sponsor him--every little bit makes a difference. If you are interested, please check out his race page:

Hoppy Easter!
Matty's first Easter! The Easter Bunny left him two baskets full of rattles and toys--the candy will have to wait until next year :-)

Easter Eggs!
Today, we attended the annual Wojtal pre-Easter kielbasa lunch followed by Easter egg dying. Even Matty got in on the action!
He chose blue... now we're just waiting for the egg to be done!
Talking to GG after we're all done.
Happy Birthday Aunt Susie!
Aunt Susie's birthday was yesterday, so we all had dinner at the Harmon house--pizza and cake!

Achievement Unlocked: Sleeping through the night
Matty had a terrific night last night! He slept from 9:30pm to 6:30am--way to go!! That's the longest stretch he's ever done. We'll see if he can repeat it tonight. :-) He woke up happy and rested and ready to eat!

Tummy Time
Matty, age 2 1/2 months. Brendan, age 18 months. What a difference those 16 months make! Keep eating Matty, you'll catch up!
Here, they are engaged in a head holding-up contest. Brendan is winning.

Aa-choo!
It's allergy season--Matty is working out some sneezes!
As Matty's Great-Grandpa would say, "if I had a nose full of nickels, I'd sneeze 'em all atchoo."

April Showers
It's a rainy April day here. Here are some pictures of how Matty likes to pass the time.
EXTREME Close-up!
Morning smiles!
Dancing in the crib!
All tired out!
Baby's first power saw
Matty got a fun new toy today... a circular saw!
I can tell he's going to have a lot of fun with his newest toy - his eyes are wide with excitement!
